The Abbey Food Service Group has and opening for a Full Time Kitchen Manager in Springfield, VT.
Desired experience and job requirements:
– Trained professional who works regularly preparing from-scratch meals with fresh ingredients
– ability to train, monitor, and reinforce safe and sanitary working conditions
– anticipate and identify service-related problems and initiate appropriate corrective action in coordination with the director
– Servsafe certified
– ability to develop menus with creativity and variety while working within the NSLP guidelines and company financial goals.
– great personality a must. You will need to be able to work with front line kitchen staff and interact with the district students.
– ability to follow standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
– completes HACCP, temp, and waste logs as well as other record-keeping.
