The Abbey Group, Vermont’s premier locally based food service management company, is seeking a new Chef Manager for a prestigious Corporate Dining account in the Central Vermont area. This is a year-round salaried position with benefits available. Great Monday to Friday daytime schedule, serving breakfast, lunch and in-house catering.
The successful candidate will have strong culinary, leadership, customer relations and financial management skills. The Chef Manager is responsible for:
Staff hiring, training, motivating and scheduling
Purchasing within designated food cost parameters
Food production, including frequent catering events
Developing strong customer relationships at all levels of the client organization
Identifying new business opportunities
Keeping the kitchen and servery clean and organized
