The Abbey Pub & Restaurant is looking for a full-time line cook to fill an upcoming position. The Abbey is a fast paced restaurant that not only is open for lunch and dinner but also caters a variety of events from weddings to baby showers.
We are looking for a hard working individual who is able to work a minimum of 40 hours a week with the potential for overtime. The applicant must be able to stand on his or her feet for a minimum of 8 hours and be able to lift at least 50 pounds. A minimum of two years of line cook experience or similar experience is required. The applicant must have reliable transportation. Working weekends and holidays is a must. Starting pay is $15 per hour.
Duties include but are not limited to: food preparation, nightly cleaning, banquet service, cooking lunch and dinner services, helping the Head Chef and the Sous Chef with various tasks, deep cleaning, and helping where help is needed. All applicants must be well groomed and have good personal hygiene.
