Now Hiring Food Service Workers!
The Abbey Group is currently looking to fill several positions within various schools throughout Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York. These positions may include: Chefs, dishwashers, salad bar prep, deli bar prep, servers, bakers and point-of-sale cashiers.
In addition to these positions, we are always looking to hire substitutes. If you are a stay at home parent who would like to work the same schedule as your child, or if you are someone who is interested in working occasionally, we are looking for you. The work schedule follows the school calendar plus additional training and/or meeting times as required.
Job duties may include, but are not limited to, healthy food preparation, baking, supervising a team, managing a food budget, implementing promotions, catering, serving, clean-up, inventory management, record keeping, cash handling, computer data entry, and Harvest of the Month activities.
Ideal candidates must be able to work in a fast paced environment, follow health and safety regulations, work as part of a team and be dependable for their shifts. Job requirements include—but are not limited to—a completed criminal record check, Servsafe certification within 6 months of hiring, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and some leadership experience. Wages are based on experience.
